Content Production with Bernadette Burke, president of Brella Productions
When you think about marketing, one of the first things you visualize is the content you wish to create for your campaign. On this week’s episode, we discuss content production with Bernadette Burke, the CEO of Brella Productions.
Bernadette Burke is the CEO and President of Brella Productions, a full-service communications company specializing in video, interactive, and events. Bernadette and Mark Mallchok met on Northwestern University’s fencing team, fell in love and after freelancing together they founded Brella Productions in 1992. By embracing evolving technologies and new markets, Bernadette and Mark grew Brella from a two-person video team to a 100-person communications firm.
During our discussion, we talked with Bernadette about a variety of different topics including her company’s history, their favorite and most complex projects and how they are working to develop mobile apps for clients. We also discussed Brella’s thoughts on 3D printing and the changing environment that we have to keep up with. Our discussion came to a close when we talked about a couple from Mississippi who traveled to New York to wait in line for the new iPhone 6 while also doing promotion for a the product launch of VideoMedicine and the astounding media results that occurred from the grassroots marketing stunt.
